This was just a fun little exploratory project. Soccer has been growing in the states at a really great clip. Many of us have played since we were able to run, and have enjoyed watching the global game just as long. At one point in the 90s, there were a handful of kits around the world that featured delicious and sometimes local beer brands. Let's be completely honest, a Newcastle Brown ale jersey is a little easier to put on than one that features the logo of a multi-national telecom or gambling conglomerate.
We wanted to explore some of the country's fastest-growing soccer brands, and how their kits would look if they were sponsored by local craft breweries and distilleries. We judged our brand choices based on a combination of design and local love for the brands and the beers. Thanks for looking! Cheers!
